Mercenaries Guild

So we "filmed" a few more takes of the MG Demo Project's first entry (The Rifle) this evening. Khalsa, Exclamation, K-Otic and myself took part, and it was a lot of fun.

We're up to 11 takes now, mostly because of minor screwups (FF being on, I killed the dretch instead of a turret), but we're making solid progress. Once we solidify the first demo, it'll be easier to keep a consistent tone and feel with the subsequent demos. 

The next demo up for "filming" will most likely be the introduction to the dretch. Doing the next demo from an alien perspective will help us plan for other alien demos, as well as provide a fresh view on the demos in general. I'm thinking about re-writing the alien script to have a different feel, maybe make the aliens really seem evil. There's too much of a "noob" bias to join the human team, and I think if we can make the aliens seem "cooler" at first through a more "badass" attitude, it might sway more players to try the aliens first.

Just some thoughts really.
