Well, I wanted to try out if I could successfully take screenshots and find them into the base folder. However, it doesn't appear to be there. There is not a screenshot folder in the Tremulous folder, nor the base folder.

Is there any way to take screenshots and place them inside the Tremulous folder manually?

You may well have multiple base folders. Look at the contents of the cvar fs_base in-game to determine if you are looking in the right place.

Most likely, assuming windows, that means you're looking in
program files\tremulous\base

while you should be looking in
documents and setting\you\local settings\application data\tremulous\base

or less likely, but possibly,
documents and settings\you\application data\tremulous\base

The cvars are fs_homepath and fs_basepath (and possibly fs_cdpath, although that last one isn't often useful)
