Hello all MG members!

My name is CerebralAssassin and I have been playing tremulous for quite some time now. I have played with and known a lot of the MG clan.
I currently play under the alias of HolySmite but I do use CerebralAssassin the most and its been known more. I play under PureTrem all the time I would play on the MG servers for I loved them but, for some reason they won't appear on my server list? (Any tips for that?) My alien rocks... Goon is a little rusty for I have been training Mara which is now better then my Goon . My Dretch has the power to kill any helmeted Human given they miss or I get lucky xD. My lisk is known for taking out groups very effectively. Although building with Aliens is a mild set back I don't really know how to build an effective Alien base, I always start up my own server and make bases then practice certain rushes on them and such but, they always seem to fail. On Humans my Shotty through MD are basically 1 shot 1 kill except for goons normally that takes a whole clip but, I generally hit what I'm aiming at.  Bases although are a little sketchy but, I can get a good one on certain maps and better ones with good teams. I will not be on IRC or TS for that basically if I play Trem and use IRC or TS or any chat client my Trem crashes. I'm sort of the person who doesn't like forums so much but I will post if and when I can. I'm 15 years old going on 16 in September I play about 10+ hours a week given that my weekends are free or I have nothing to do. I do play sports during the school year so I may be on at later times. I do not hack but, have been accused. I have been banned from Yaknet (Denton was mad at me xD) That was ages ago were cool now. And at Zilla servers which don't exist anymore (Smokey hated me). You can find me on Trem basically any time all time if TS is required I will get it but, I lag a lot and therefore will not be able to play Trem at the same time.

EDIT: This is an edit based on first reply. Well I'll be a Junior next September. I'm mostly Math and Science based. I love workin' with computers and trying to program and such not to good at it though. I love Baseball and Track. I'm very sporty like Snowboarding, Hockey, Skateboarding, Biking. I'm a very nice person who cares about whats good for the general good. I currently have a job as a busboy xD I know but its good money. And I have a Girlfriend who is by far the best part of my life at the moment. I reside in the US and go by EST time so I don't how that will affect stuff. I'm very social and love to have a good time. Well hope that helps.

Your application has a lot about your Tremulous experience (which sounds good to me), but if you wouldn't mind telling us a little bit about the person behind the keyboard I think it would be appreciated.  We like to get to know the people, not just the players.  Feel free to just edit the application instead of making a new post, keeps everything about you that you want us to know on the first impression as the first post in the thread.

Thanks Vamp. I was gonna say the same thing. I search for .G. everytime I play and get nothing? Did it die? Thanks for the gl wish. Good luck to you too. No I didn't forget about the forums I just don't really like to use them. If someone wants to really talk to me just call me xD or use AIM. I use those a lot.

ok well alot of us play in the morning lol, hey actively use the forums as we are starting to vote in new members and your opinion is valuable, and also I got someone to make some logos for us, what would you want on yours? actually post on the forums, it is in general discussion i believe

MG runs servers, yes -- we run the Pure Tremulous servers, so... you found them!

We also run the MG Development server, which should be on the list hopefully. I think tuple still runs Map Madness, but that's kind of on the side.

If any of our servers (the 3 PTs and MG Dev) don't appear on the list, tell us so we can restart them. Sometimes, it seems that the master server forgets and needs to be reminded.

Thanks for your app, but don't expect us to come out to AIM to talk to you. Instead, come by our chat room and talk to us: #mercenariesguild on irc.freenode.org. That's IRC by the way, so you'll need an IRC client. If you don't want to get one, you can try it out using a web client that we have hidden somewhere on the website.

Yeah thanks Garoth. I stay away from chat clients because my current internet can't handle them. That'll be different soon though. So until I get new internet you won't see me much on IRC or TS... Also I never knew the PT was run by MG lol... I thought you guys always had a server just as }MG{ *insert name here* I can't remember but, this was a while back.

Cerebral: yes, we used to do that, but not since we started PT. Also, your current internet _can_ handle IRC. It's entirely text based. If your internet handles Tremulous, it can handle IRC without trouble.

Well, he could mean that it lags out every 10 minutes and annoys the crap out of everyone. It *is* possible. However, if he can play Trem effectively I kind of doubt that.

CA, you'll definitely have to hit the forums and IRC if you'd like to get into MG. That's arguably one of the most important parts of being a member, so we don't tend to approve people who do not. It's as much about being part of a group outside the game as it is in.

Lakitu- Yes about the IRC thing I tried it last night and it sorta worked so I'll only be on it when I'm at the library and at work. I should have effective internet within 2 weeks tops. Also I try to be very public but, my time unlike others is very filled I can't just spend an hour of my day talking to people. I have a job, schoolwork, and sports. And on top of all that my parents are divorced and I spend 1 month in Vt with my "Amish dad" So I rarely get internet time there. I'm also taking extra classes at MIT for computer tech stuff. So I don't know if you guys can understand that I have a life but, I can't just be all dedicated to 1 thing that basically won't get me anywhere in life except for some "hopefully" cool friends and maybe some life skills. But I do enjoy playing Trem and I love the players of }MG{ but if my current life effects any chance of me getting into }MG{ whats the point?

I don't want to go accusing people, but it seems two .G. members, Pheniox and Cerebral, who just hijacked the Z|R server and caused some commotion.  If this wasn't CerebralAssassin (which I want to think it's not, as I remember he's been playing for quite a bit), that's cool, but thought this should be investigated before accepting, the two seemed to have kicked quite a few people upon joining, the following is a link to the complaints of those who were kicked on the Z|R forums:
