well, I love it, but I do have some interesting insight on it.
well, its not too pretty at high resolutions.  I personally use 2048x1536, and there are some interesting things.  like when you register, the labels for the fields are on the other side of the screen as the actual fields.
not that you have to fix any of this.  as a web designer myself i know how difficult this can be.  and I'm probably the only one who will ever realize the difference.
so i could fix this myself, if I get around to it.
whatever

Still hoping that this site will use  my logos, in a variety of shapes/sizes. It would be cool to stick in the MG logo already existing, but smaller, as part of the logo.

If PIE can send me a version without the background, I can use it easily, and we'd have a unified logo. I really like my version, especially the white one. Again, you can find it here:

And a sample of one of the versions is:

Yeah.. i'm pretty good with Photoshop and CSS.. so i'll be fixing this up later on. This is just sort of until I have time. I used the default YaBB template.. tweaked it where I needed and monkied with the CSS. I'll put your logo up garoth.. I'll also work on putting the current MG logo into vector when I have the time, and integrate Garoth's work into the design.
When i have a little more time it will all be much prettier. Grin
And yes.. if you notice any oddities like the resolution/bar thing let me know.. because its YaBB's fault, and I will want to fix that when I can.

I have a pretty high resolution.. so sorry for the huge logo... i'll scale it down a little more.
The link.. yeah.. i'm going to unlink it until I figure out why the heck its doing that... your not actually logged out.. I at least can still click another link and magically i'm logged back in... but its still disorienting.

Hey, if you send me a version in like png without the background fill, I can vectorize it myself using a program, rather than having to redraw it... Actually, I probably could use the Gimp to remove the black myself, now that I think about it.

BTW, if people don't like my logo, we don't HAVE to use it.

Yeah... I'm pretending that no one notices that, though. And no one will when it is smaller, and most won't now. The feet, although I don't see the handicapped bit, are a little less realistic than the rest.

What's so bad about YaBB? If you don't think about it, it's pretty similar to phpBB, and it actually has some very nice features. It always bothered me that phpBB put smiles at the bottom, and not where your cursor is. Also, check out the nice thing at the top that fades. Looks nice. Not even flash generated! Plus, the smilies are a lot nicer, and there are hotkeys with alt.

BTW, still waiting for the tremulous smilies to be put in...
