Have you ever wondered how to use antialiasing, anistropic flitering, etc.   in tremulous? Look no further.

Simply open up your advanced display settings (on Windows propreties>display>advanced)

Go to the open GL tab, turn on custom settings, increase the settings to as high as you want.

Could someone fix the image please?

You should probably note that the directions are only valid if you're running Windows, you're using an ATI card and you have the proper ATI drivers installed.

The process would be very different for those using Nvidia on Linux, which a lot of us do.

I just got Suse 10 and am dual booting, but I can't play tremulous on it since I haven't entered the ATI driver mess yet.

Do you mean that there are stable opensource drivers out or you make your own? How hard would it be to tweak said settings on linux?

There are lots of stable open source drivers. However, only some of them offer the power which is needed for good desktop composting.

Yes, we the community make them (except with the open source intel ones), no, we personally do not (I don't think anyone in MG or our Tremulous friends work on kernel pieces).

Like everything on Linux, tweaking them is easy -- if you know how Tongue

Even if you don't know how, google will bring up loads of nice tutorials and walk throughs, just make sure its for the same version, some out-of-date stuff can do more harm than good.
