I didn't mind if he went to the alien team because it was actually pretty even the way it was. I could defend myself just fine in the 2v1. However, you knew the guy was a noob, so that gave you no right to join the human team.

I don't see why not, considering he wasn't doing it on purpose. He has a right to choose whatever team he wants to be on, whether he's a noob or not, if it doesn't affect the balance of the game.

And since he joined the alien team after he fed you, I guess he'd start feeding me since that's what he does, right? That would balance the game. You had no reason to come to the human team if he joined yours.

Well what I dont understand is why you would let people move to the winning team anyways that makes no sense to me whether they are a noob or not...

Odin, please don't let this get offensive (meaning that it hasn't yet)

SilentDeath, I realize that it is damn annoying when people switch teams part way through, but noobs do a lot of annoying things and we shouldn't punish them, they don't understand.

Odin: why did you then move SilentDeath (or do I misunderstand?)

Changing teams sucks.
The other dude should have been put back.
You should only change team when thay are unbalanced, either is number, or sometimes skill.

I moved him back to the alien team, to rebalance the game. I didn't do anything with the noob player because I knew he wouldn't understand, and that he wasn't really affecting the balance of the game anyway.

A feeder can have more effect than 10 'pros'.
And live and let live.

You don't understand. He fed while on my team, and he went to the alien team. That balanced the feeding.

Very true...

Anyways, perhaps admins for MG should ask players what they think and then act. That wouldn't be a bad policy to use sometimes.

Sorry for your trouble, SilentDeath.

personally i dont allow people to switch teams during a game at all unless teams are uneven.  No matter whether they're a pro, noob, or those guys who think they're "all that and a bag of potato chips".  Admins are of course an exception to the rule because i trust them to know what they're doing usually, however even then i rarely approve unless i think its fair.

I have a complaint!

I asked Garoth for a hug and he said, "Shut up butthead!". I am very much outraged at this heinous injustice!
