My in-game name is Munroe, and I've been playing Tremulous for nearly a year now. I've noticed that a lot of players, both new and experienced, suffer from poor team-play skills and are generally not that mature. I enjoy playing tremulous a lot, so I went looking for a group of people that are interested in seriously playing this game, and trying to improve the experience around it. The Mercenaries Guild looks like the perfect group of people.

I'm 23 years old, and I live in Ottawa, Canada. I've been an active computer user since I was 6 years old when my dad bought the family a 386. I spent my early computer years tinkering with boot disks so I could play DOOM, and on BBS's trying to get walkthrough's to my favourite adventure games. I spent some time in high school fixing computers, and learning Visual Basic. I've recently graduated from a post-secondary institution, with a diploma in Computer Science. I'm fluent in a few different languages, including C, C++, Java, Perl, and Bash, and I'm competant in a UNIX-type environment. I have a deep hatred for propriatary operating systems and closed software in general. I use Ubuntu as my operating system, and I much prefer the experience to that of the WIN32 environment.

I'm serious about this game, and I think I can bring a lot of useful knowledge, and a good sense of humour to the Mercenaries Guild. Thank you for reading my application.
