Ello Mercenaries,
      My in game name is Assassin|Penguin, I have been playing tremulous for about 1 year and have made a lot of friends.   Most of which play on the PureTremulous server.      I am a level two admin on PureTremulous also and have been helping people that are new to the game quite frequently and a lot of them are happy to get the help.      I have also noticed that a lot of people that play on tremulous enjoy tking or deconing just for fun and it is really annoying because it interupts gameplay.   

      I am 18 and live in Viola Iowa i don't have much computer tech experience but am quite good at playing games on them so i hope to be able to bring good things to the MG guild and tremulous as a whole.      I am also willing to learn from the guild and try and help out with what i can.    I am a senior in high school and will be going to a 2 year college when i graduate with a open major.    i enjoy dirt-biking, reading, helping others, gaming and watching anime.

Just a few points, but keep in mind this is in reference to your application, not you. So don't take it personally, I think you're a good player(from what I've seen).

It's "a lot," not "alot." It's two words, not one. I would of overlooked that, but you used it three times. Also, see Google's request for admin to see what I think about using 'i' instead of 'I' when referring to one self.

Nice snag. I enjoy being called out on my mistakes, means I will not make it again(hopefully).

Assassin: good application, could be longer though. Tell us more about yourself and what you may do if you join the guild.

i enjoy using i instead of I in online dialog because i believe it lends a degree of distinct informality too often missing from other forms of written and typed communication.  The only time i use I instead of i is following a period.  A sentence following a period must always begin with a capital letter.

I was quite bored and so decided to share my so meticulously formed view on this issue.  I believe we all can agree on it's utmost importance.  I appreciate monroe's view, however my position stands in most grave opposition to it.  I call for rebellion!  All those who love freedom and believe tyranny should never prove triumphant should rally around this most precious bastion of liberty.  I believe that my stance has been put forth in as clear and concise a statement one could ever desire in a manifesto.  Join me all believers in the value of this fabulous letter.  I

Why can't anyone ever get my name right? Why is it always monroe? This happens on forums other than this one too.

This argument will be obvious, but I don't agree with ZEL, mostly because I spend so much time writing online formally. It looks horribly wrong to me, after having it drilled into my head that you don't leave the letter 'i' all alone and uncapitalized. It's just improper English.

That's the beauty of the language though, it can change. If everyone started to leave the letter 'i' all alone, then after a few generations, it would become common and therefore right.

As it stands today though, it's a mistake. An intentional mistake maybe, but still a mistake.

No way. A rebellion against grammar? The entire online would decline even further than it has, and before we know it, we'll be up to out collective balls in "lolhaxr u nub".

In fact, it's quite the other way around. People such as myself and Munroe are rebelling against poor grammar/spelling in an attempt to bring some civilization to the digital world directly around us.
