I'm sorry, but my first thought when I heard this story many years ago was "I hope she didn't have kids yet, and that she can't anymore because of this."  People like these are the reason curling irons and pushbrooms have labels that say "For external use only".  Yes, think about that.

So, to my earlier comment on 'Nerd Music', I stumbled across this excellent blog when looking for Jonathan Coulton's website.

I've downloaded the two mixed albums, which are pretty good.  Most of the songs aren't a style I'd usually listen to, but the 'nerd factor' makes them worth checking out.

On another note, I recently saw The Spazmatics, which are absolutely awesome.   They're local, but if you ever get a chance to get to Austin, make sure to find where they are playing.  Great show!

On another note, any of you *nix heads, will appreciate my first exposure to nerd music:
